Parent Resources

Parents/guardians of ACS students can create a Canvas account, which will be linked to their child/children. By creating a Canvas Parent Account, parents can review the materials their child's teachers have published within Canvas, check assignments and test due dates, and much more. Parents can sign-up for alerts and enter their cell phone number to receive text notifications. 

Please review the instructions shown below to learn how to go about creating a Canvas Parent Account. Please note there are separate instructions for parent accounts to be used on computer vs. parent accounts to be used on a mobile device. Parents can access ACS Canvas using argosschools.instructure.com.

Parents can request to an account with Securly that will allow them to view their student's browsing history on their school devices.

iPads and chargers that students receive at the beginning of the school year, are Property of Argos Community Schools. Students receive a handout at the beginning of the year outlining the expectatins on how they should care for their devices.
