Argos Community Schools has established the following goals for the 2023-2024 school year.

• Continue to implement the Roadmap for Catch Up Growth Education. Focus on addressing: 

  Recovery learning for all students

• Technology: Continue to implement the use of student and teacher devices for the school year. 

  • iPads for Students
  • MacBooks and iPads for teachers
  • New wireless infrastructure (Schools Parking Lots, Athletic Facilities)
  • Standardize classroom technology (Apple TV)
  • Update and Install Signage
  • Improved Buildings Security and Camera System
  • Install New Phone System
  • Upgrade Switches and Classroom Wiring
  • Update Argos Community Schools Website

• Financial Goals

  • Develop & Implemement a 2024 district wide budget that provides financial stability for Argos Community Schools
  • Implement savings and efficiencies in the Operations Budget for 2024 & 2025 Budgets

• Special Education

  • Implement a new Special Education Structure for Argos Schools
  • Effective transition from the JESSE Cooperative during the 2024-2025 school year
  • Implement the new agreement and educational design for special education with Triton and Plymouth Schools for the 2024-2025 school year

• Complete Construction Projects 

  • Cafeteria addition and remodeling project (Completed)
  • Elementary addition (Completed)
  • Replace rooftop HVAC units (Completed)
  • Parking and traffic flow improvement

• Recovery Learning and Professional Development

  • Achieve a minimum of one year learning growth for all students in Language Arts and Mathmatics
  • Provide Professional Development Academy for Teachers for July 2024
  • New Teacher Orientation for 2024-2025
  • Transitioning to the new iReady and iLearn Standards for Testing
